World Theatre Day – March 27

Today is World Theatre Day.

The Goals of World Theatre Day are:

To promote theatre in all its forms across the world.
To make people aware of the value of theatre in all its forms.
To enable theatre communities to promote their work on a broad scale so that governments & opinion leaders are aware of the value & importance of dance in all its forms and support it.
To enjoy theatre in all its forms for its own sake.
To share the joy for theatre with others.

Celebrate Theatre!

We are getting a bit of a facelift!

We are taking out the old front steps and replacing them with a new entrance. The rejuvenation will take approximately 4-6 weeks to complete. It will be brand new for the season opening. During this time business is open as usual for the Theatre and for Connections. Please use the Library/Box Office door to shop at Connections.

The Port Stanley Festival Theatre is seeking billets to share their homes with incoming actors/crew members

This generous gesture provides what cast call an essential life line. Reducing financial strain, providing the comforts of home, helping one to settle quickly into their role so that their best work can be done. It also opens the door for new friendships to be formed.

To show our gratitude the theatre offers rewards like a tax receipt, season tickets & a gift certificate to a local business.
