F. Scott is my dad’s name.

​I’m a Guelph-based artist blending folk, indie, and hip-hop influences to paint a picture of house parties, rugged outdoors,  awkward experiences, and friends.

I’m currently releasing Scotty Season. It’s a season of music, or more accurately an album released in 5 parts over 3 months. Each part represents a different place/era of my life.

F. Scott started as a side project while I was studying at the University of Guelph. Having returned from a summer of tree planting in Northern Ontario, I wanted to create music that reflected the social atmosphere of that experience. Between (and during) classes I wrote, and when I got home I would record and produce in my bedroom. Out of this came a short EP, Normal Behaviour, made in multiple makeshift studios in Guelph, Toronto, and Creemore. From sketchy mic set-ups and closet studios to samples of my friends at parties, most everything was DIY (with a lot of help from friends of course) and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Blending folk, indie and hip-hop influences, Normal Behaviour was released in June 2018.

Since then I’ve played live shows in Toronto (Horseshoe Tavern, The Boat), Guelph (Silence, University of Guelph), and Brantford (Two Doors) and have collaborated with Guelph artist Flo on his LP’s, Forever & Litty. Sometimes I perform solo, sometimes I perform with my friends as a full band set (while I enjoy both, the latter’s much more fun).

Alex Saslove, Vocalist:  Alex was born and raised in a very artistic/ musical family. With over 20 years of vocal training/experience,  she was singing before she could even talk, and has always loved being in the spotlight.  At the age of 13 Alex made her professional Toronto Theatre debut, and has been performing professionally on stages around the globe ever since. A graduate of the prestigious Music Theatre Performance Program at Sheridan College in Oakville, ON. Alex has had the opportunity to build an exciting stage career in many treasured productions, including her favourite as an original cast member in Disney’s “Toy Story- the Musical“ for Disney Theatricals.  Alex’s Musical Theatre background adds a unique element of storytelling, and a vibrant and captivating energy to her performance. Today, when she is not performing Alex is a Social Media Account Manager for boutique Social Media agency, Hayle Creative Co.
Most recently Alex was seen on stage in the musical “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” as part of Windsor Light Music Theatre‘s 75th Anniversary season, and is THRILLED to announce that this coming May 2024, she will be back on the Chrysler Theatre stage as Sandy Cheeks the Squirrel, in Windsor Light Music Theatre’s production of “The SpongeBob Musical”! This show is a very exciting milestone for FOREVER JUNE as this will be the first time Alex and Justin take the stage together, not performing as a duo!

Justin Raisbeck, Vocalist/Guitarist/Percussionist:  Justin was born and raised in a very theatrical family. Growing up, his parents ran a community theatre company, which granted him many opportunities to find comfort and command the stage from a young age. Leading a double life in both the Theatre and Music industries, Justin was lead singer/guitarist in local Windsor rock band “Intra Meridian” for over 15 years. He attended The University of Windsor for Theatre, and after graduating, he continued on to earn himself a degree in teaching.  In January 2015, Justin made his Toronto Theatre debut in Mirvish Productions “ONCE“ the musical, which played for 6 months at the Ed Mirvish theatre. Justin has originated several roles in recent years , including the role of “The King” in the WORLD PREMIERE of “The Little Prince” the musical, at Theatre Calgary, and “Charlie” in the new hit rock musical “Jukebox Hero” , once again for Mirvish Productions. Justin will be returning to the Windsor stage for the first time in over a decade as the title role in “The SpongeBob Musical” He is so excited to be playing the famous yellow sponge, and bring him to life on stage! He is even more excited to be playing SpongeBob to Alex’s Sandy! You won’t want to miss this show!
